Peoples’ Friendship University was founded by the special decision of the Government of the USSR in 1960 as the Peoples’ Friendship University named after Patrice Lumumba. More than 52,000 foreign students from 170 countries have graduated this University, which combines the features of the classical higher education and the ideals of upbringing in the spirit of mutual respect and patriotism of young people.

Admission in Udergraduate & Postgraduate Program:

As informed by the Russian Embassy in Islamabad, People’s Friendship University of Russia is interested in admission of foreign students on a CONTRACT BASIS (Self Finance). Scholarships:

By quota, given to the University by Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, People’s Friendship University of Russia may accept 2- 3 candidates in Physics and Mathematics, Engineering, Agrarian and Ecological fields. However, the university is not responsible for any charges either related to the arrival of accepted students to Moscow, or charges for their return to Pakistan after finishing or being excluded from the University.
