2012-2013 Summer Research Scholarship at University of Waikato, New Zealand


Eligibility:
-Applicants should be currently enrolled in an undergraduate, a final-year honours or a first-year masters degree at a New Zealand or Australian university and are expected to have completed at least three years of undergraduate study
-Students with an appropriate background may apply at the end of their second year
-Students not previously enrolled at the University of Waikato should also attach academic transcripts from their previous institution(s)

Scholarship Description: The University of Waikato Summer Research Scholarships are intended as an initiative to support and enhance research at the University. The Summer Research Scholarships are offered in various disciplines during the summer study break. Adelaide Graduate Research Scholarships, Australia 2013

Eligibility:
In order to be eligible for consideration a student must:
-Be completing their four year undergraduate degree including class one honours in a research based honours program at the University of Adelaide in 2012 (have completed the above in 2011)OR be completing their masters degree with a sufficient research component to be approved by the Research Education Development Committee as a degree acceptable for entry to the PhD (refer to the Academic Program Rules) at the University of Adelaide in 2012 OR have completed the above in 2011.
-Be eligible to enrol as a commencing student in a full-time postgraduate research program at the University of Adelaide by 31 August 2013.
-Be an international student; and not be currently enrolled in the higher degree by research program at the University of Adelaide for which the student is applying for a scholarship. Currently enrolled PhD students and applicants who applied in previous international scholarship rounds are not eligible to apply again.

University of Oulu International Master’s Scholarship Programme, 2013

Eligibility:Applicants are eligible to apply for a University of Oulu IM Scholarship 2012, if they are:
-Non-EU/EEA citizens who do not have a permanent residence permit in Finland
-The applicant has obtained their first academic degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) from a recognised institution of higher education. – applicants who are in their last term/semester of studies during the application period, can apply for the scholarship
-Applicants who receive a conditional offer of study placement for a Master’s programme will receive a conditional scholarship offer.

Scholarship Description: The University of Oulu International Master’s Scholarships provide EURO 2.4 million in scholarships to academically talented international students in architecture, business, economics, education, engineering, and sciences. The scholarship is aimed at students studying for a Master’s degree in the University of Oulu two-year international Master’s programmes. The scholarship is for one academic year and covers the full international tuition fee. The University of Oulu IM Scholarship 2012 does not cover living costs. In order to retain the scholarship in the second year of study, a student must have completed 45 ECTS by the end of their first academic year. If a student does not achieve this requirement, they will be liable to pay the full international tuition fee if they wish to complete their Master’s degree programme.

2013/14 Italian Government Bursaries for Foreign and I.R.E. Students at Italian Public Universities,Italy

Eligibility:
-Applicants must have a degree corresponding with the Italian first or second Level degree depending on the Master course chosen and eventual other documentation as requested by their chosen Italian institution.
-All Level I and II Masters courses must have minimum six month duration and are not exempt from enrolment fees.
-If the course requires a period of study outside of Italy, payment of the bursary will be suspended during that period.
-Since admittance to Masters Courses is often on a selection basis, and courses require a minimum number of participants to be held, it is the applicants’ responsibility to make sure both of their admittance to the course and its actual start date.
-Bursary-holders are reminded that they have a right to the awarded bursary only for a period of study to be completed by 31 December 2013, and only if they attend the courses originally chosen.
-Upon completion of the course attended the bursary-holder will have to sit the required exams.
