Who is eligible?

This scholarship is open to international applicants seeking to pursue a full-time Nanyang Fellows MBA programme at NTU.

Eligibility criteria

  • Possess excellent undergraduate degrees

The Friends of Maastricht University (UM) is an initiative of the University Fund Limburg/SWOL. The University Fund seeks private funding to allow talented international students to follow master’s programs at Maastricht University. Gifts and donations are brought together in the Friends Scholarship.

Who is eligible?

To provide doctoral training for outstanding individuals seeking to pursue a professional academic career, the School of Management is offering a full-time 4-year Graduate Research Scholarship, with an annual value of about £18,000, including home tuition fees and maintenance.

The Scholarship for autumn 2013 is open to international, EU and UK candidates who have both (i) exceptional academic qualifications and (ii) a strong commitment to acquiring a professional doctoral training to be management academics. Applicants must be seeking to earn a PhD on a full-time basis, and will be required both (i) to take taught programmes in research and teaching methods and (ii) to contribute annually up to a maximum of 100 hours of seminar-based teaching and assessment. (Candidates will not be expected to deliver lectures.) Annual continuation of awards will depend on satisfactory performance.
Applications are welcomed from outstanding graduates who:
1. must hold at a minimum a bachelor degree (a First or Upper-second or GPA equivalent)
2. Are fluent in English.

These grants are awarded to enable students and graduates to attend German language and area studies courses plus special language/terminology courses that are offered by state (public) or state-recognised German higher education institutions and by affiliated language schools. Requirements
  • Applications are open to students in Bachelor‘s and Master‘s programmes of all subject areas who will have completed at least two academic years of studies at the time of starting their funded stay.
  • Students in their last year of a Bachelor‘s programme are entitled to apply if a Master‘s programme will follow directly after the Bachelor‘s degree. Please include the letter of confirmation by the higher education institution as proof.
  • Neither graduates holding a Master‘s degree nor PhD students are eligible for application to this programme.
  • At the time of starting the funded stay, applicants must be registered or matriculated at a university in their home country or in their country of permanent residence (but not Germany).
  • Applicants must be able to follow lectures and presentations and to collaborate in teams. The German required language skills must at least be equivalent to level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and must be proved by a language certificate. The last language certificate should not be older than one year. David Parkin PhD Scholarship 2013


To help support the University of Bath’s world-class research environment and to provide doctoral training for outstanding individuals seeking specifically to pursue professional academic careers, the School of Management is seeking applications for the David Parkin PhD Scholarship for Overseas Students.

The David Parkin PhD Studentships worth approximately £13,000 per annum for 3 years (overseas tuition fees, and training support grant) are open to candidates from anywhere in the world (outside the EU) who have both (i) exceptional academic qualifications and (ii) a strong commitment to acquiring a professional research training to become management academics.

Amandus H. Lundqvist Scholarship Program


Each year a considerable number of scholarships are awarded by TU/e partnered by top international technology companies. Currently ASML, NXP, Océ, Philips and Bosch are all involved in the Amandus H. Lundqvist Scholarship Program (ALSP), named in honor of the former TU/e President.

The scholarship program

The scholarship covers a period of five years: two years studying for your Master's degree at TU/e and three years working for the company that sponsors your scholarship. In this way you will also gain international work experience and increase your career opportunities.

The scholarships will be awarded to highly talented international students who have an excellent academic record, a high score in the selection tests and in English proficiency.

The TU/e will match your academic background and particular skills to the requirements of the international organizations funding your scholarship.

The ALSP scholarship consists of a tuition fee waiver and a contribution to living expenses of 5,000 euro for both of the two years of the Master's program. This is not a full cost scholarship. During the three years of your career launching experience, you will earn a competitive salary.

You automatically enter the selection for ALSP if you are admitted to a TU/e Master's program having submitted your application before the scholarship deadline of February 1, 2013. 

UK : 100 PhD studentships

Chancellor's International Research Scholarships

The University of Sussex is investing £5 million in 50 new Chancellor's International Research Scholarships to support development of our key interdisciplinary research areas:
