These scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the Dean and can be held in addition to other School of Business scholarships.

Once you have got been given a suggestion to review within the School of Business at the University of Dundee, we are going to send you an email telling you the way to use for a School of Business Scholarship.
You must complete the shape, as soon as doable, and come back it as per the directions provided.
We will notify you when the time limit, to allow you to understand whether or not you have got been successful in being awarded a School of Business Scholarship or not.

Fully-funded Scholarships 2012, CESET

Fully-funded Scholarships 2012, Centre for Emerging Sciences, Engineering & Technology (CESET),  Islamabad
Centre for Emerging Sciences, Engineering & Technology (CESET),  Islamabad is instituting Fully-funded scholarships in the name of Late  Arfa Karim and Haji Mohammad Rafiq. Arfa Karim Scholarships will be  awarded to the meritorious students applying in its BS Software  Engineering and BS Computer Science Programs whereas meritorious  orphan students in undergraduate engineering and all other programs  will be the recipients of Late Haji Mohammad Rafiq Scholarships on  need cum merit basis.

These scholarships start with 100% tuition fee  waiver in the first semester and are continuing in nature based on a  desirable academic performance of the recipients. The scholarships are  purely based on equal opportunity. The scholarship committee comprises  of senior researchers and academicians who will finalize the results  and announce the awards. CESET is a National Project of Science & Engineering Trust (SET). The  Centre is established in 2011 in the heart of Islamabad (in the  vicinity of International Islamic University, NUST and NESCOM) with a  mission to create knowledge economy in special reference to the  national needs. IPCC Scholarship Programme

The aim of the IPCC Scholarship Programme is to build capacity in the understanding and management of climate change in developing countries through providing opportunities for young scientists from developing countries to undertake studies that would not be possible without the intervention of the Fund.Applications from students from Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) researching topics with the fields of study chosen for the call for applications are given priority. PhD Scholarship in Machine Learning

About the scholarship
The scholarship is funded by the Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation. The PhD project will be carried out in the Image Group at DIKU, in formal cooperation with the project partners and a number of collaborating research groups throughout the world.
The salary and appointment terms are according to the agreement for PhD scholarships as of 1 April 2012, according to which the monthly salary amounts to approximately EUR 3,700 including pension savings. Each scholarship requires a Master´s degree in computer science or in a related field providing equivalent qualifications (see below), at the time of taking up the position. The scholarships can be commenced as of 1 September 2012, or as soon as possible thereafter. The appointment is for a period of 3 years and is expected to lead to a PhD dissertation.
Qualifications
The applicant should have:
  • An MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics
  • An MSc thesis within Machine Learning and/or Image Analysis
  • Excellent programming skills, experience in generic programming with C++ is mandatory, knowledge in MATLAB is desirable
  • Knowledge in parallelization of algorithms
  • A solid background in mathematics and/or statistics
  • A wish to combine theoretical method development with practical experiments
  • Courage to work together with industrial oriented people, and to spend part of the project time with the project partners.
