Applications are invited for a Research Associate posts within the Real-Time Systems Research Group in the Department of Computer Science Department, University of York. The group is concerned with the design and implementation of real-time embedded systems (see http://www.cs.york.ac.uk/rts).
The post is associated with a EU Framework 7 project T-CREST involving a number of collaborative partners. Overall, the project is considering the design and implementation of a predictable CPU within a Network-on-Chip architecture. The work programme at York concerns the design and implementation of the memory hierarchy, including CPU caches, scratchpads and external memory.
