Doctoral candidate (PhD student) in Civil Engineering

Area: Investigation of the load bearing- and displacement behaviour of composite structures in steel and concrete
Mission
- The load-bearing and displacement behaviour of composite structures in steel and concrete will be investigated
- Intensive laboratory works and numerical analyses with the help of the finite element method will be conducted
- The candidate assists the professor in his teaching activities with one to three hours per week.
Profile
- Diploma or Master degree in Civil Structural Engineering or an equivalent degree in engineering
- Willingness to inscribe as PhD-student at UL
- Basic competence in laboratory and analytical work is necessary. Knowledge of FEA is an advantage
- Language Skills : English and German or French
