Denmark : Postdoc in Welfare Management


Copenhagen Business School invites applications for a vacant post doc. in Welfare Management at the Department of Management, Politics and Philosophy.
Core research areas of the MPP are public and political management, management philosophy, business history, strategy, innovation, and entrepreneurship. It is the ambition of MPP to strengthen and develop cross disciplinary research and teaching in the intersection between, on the one hand, business and economics and, on the other hand, social science and the humanities. Research and teaching at MPP is committed to continuous challenge of existing disciplinary boundaries, while at the same time providing new knowledge with relevance to CBS stakeholders in particular and society in general.
MPP is divided into four research groups, complemented by an administrative unit that provides professional support within research and education. MPP seeks to ensure an ongoing improvement within the areas of administration and appreciates staff members who take an active part in this development.
The post doc. will be positioned in our Political Management group. The purpose is to strengthen our research in welfare management, cross institutional collaboration and knowledge sharing. The candidate should ensure tight link between research and practice.
Examples of research areas that the post doc. might cover:
Management of welfare institutions
Management of collaborations
Poststructuralist analytical strategies
The post doc. is a non-tenured position for a 2-year period with research obligation.
To fulfill the research requirements of the position, the applicant chosen is expected to be physically present on a regular basis and actively participate in the teaching and research activities of the Department.
Qualifications
The applicant must hold a PhD or the equivalent. In assessing applications, particular emphasis will be placed on research potential.
