2012-2013 Summer Research Scholarship at University of Waikato, New Zealand


Eligibility:
-Applicants should be currently enrolled in an undergraduate, a final-year honours or a first-year masters degree at a New Zealand or Australian university and are expected to have completed at least three years of undergraduate study
-Students with an appropriate background may apply at the end of their second year
-Students not previously enrolled at the University of Waikato should also attach academic transcripts from their previous institution(s)

Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: International students (except New Zealand and Australia)
Scholarship Description: The University of Waikato Summer Research Scholarships are intended as an initiative to support and enhance research at the University. The Scholarships provide promising students, particularly those considering further study, with the opportunity to experience the challenges and rewards of research work. Applications will be considered from students studying at up to, and including, final-year honours degree and first-year masters degree. The Summer Research Scholarships are offered in various disciplines during the summer study break. The number of Scholarships offered in any one year will be determined by the availability of funding and appropriate supervision.
